To help you get a more beautiful smile, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable plastic aligners to gently move your teeth into their optimal position. During your initial consultation appointment Dr. Miller will evaluate your teeth and determine if Invisalign is right for you.

During the next appointment, Dr. Miller will take impressions of your teeth. These impressions will be sent to Invisalign so that they can make your orthodontic aligners. The aligners will gradually shift your teeth until your smile is straight.

Once the aligners have been made, they are sent to Dr. Miller's office. Dr. Miller will then have you back to the office to begin your Invisalign treatment.

Each set of Invisalign aligners are worn for two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss.  After two weeks, you can switch to the next set of aligners in the series, until your teeth are straight. As you replace each set of aligners with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually move until they reach the position Dr. Miller has prescribed for you. The average treatment time is about a year.

An average Invisalign course of treatment takes about a year. At regular intervals, you'll receive a new set of custom-molded clear aligners to continue the straightening process. The total number of clear aligners is specific to you, determined by Dr. Miller for your course of treatment.

Since Invisalign is practically invisible, there's no unwarranted attention to your mouth. In fact, very few people will notice at all - unless you tell them. They're comfortable to wear and remove easily when you eat, brush, and floss.
